  • Conditions for using Kura-Kura Bus. All Kura-Kura buses are non-smoking. Please kindly note the following restrictions:

  • Child Policy : Kura-Kura One Way Ticket, Round Trip Ticket Each child 2 years and under, using the same seat as an adult, can travel free of charge. Children using their own seat will be charged normal price.
  • Baggage Allowance : One item of hand luggage is allowed per person. Please check the size prior to traveling, as baggage that exceeds the maximum size (H*L*W) 81cm X 56cm X 36cm will not be permitted on the bus. Surfboards and larger items can not be stored.
    Please take extra care and look after your own belongings. Property damages or lost during your trip with Kura-Kura bus will be born on your personal expenses. PT JTB INDONESIA will not responsible or entertain such situation.
  • Insurance : All passengers are insured during their travels on Kura-Kura Bus in accordance with conditions of MSIG travel accident insurance. Limit of Liability per person is as follows:
    Death/Disablement USD 100,000.00
    Medical Expenses USD 10,000.00
  • Traffic conditions in Bali : Traffic congestion due to bad weather or road closures for religious ceremonies is commonplace in Bali. We aim to run our bus service as efficiently as possible, however delays can sometimes be experienced due to circumstances beyond our control.
    Please kindly note that Kura-Kura is not liable for any losses caused by delays in service. It is recommended to try and make allowance for possible delays when planning your trip.

Q Where does the bus go?
A Currently Kura Kura Bus operate one line and the buses go from Kuta to Ubud (round trip). For more details, please see the Route Map.
Q When does the bus service operate?
A From 08:00 to 19:00. For more details, please see the Time Schedule.
Q How do I get the bus?
A First, buy a ticket and select the date, time and location where you want to board the bus. On the selected time and date, wait for bus at that location at least two minutes before the departure schedule.
Q How much does it cost?
A The fare varies from Rp.100,000 for single trip and Rp. 160,000 for round trip. For fare information, please see Ticket Info.
Q Can I get off anywhere along the bus line?
A No, the bus only stops at designated Kura-Kura bus stops.
Q How can I check if the bus is on time/late?
A The position of buses in real time can be monitored via cellphone. You can download the Kura-Kura Bus application which is available on the Google Play Store or App Store.
Q Do buses go to the airport?
A Yes, but only for dropping off passengers. If you need transport FROM airport, please check more information on other pages of this site. We provide airport transfer services using private cars.
Q Do children have to pay?
A Each child 2 years and under, using the same seat as an adult, can travel free of charge. Children using their own seat will be charged normal price.
Q Can I use my ticket the same day I bought it?
A No. You can use your ticket as early as one day (24 hours) after you buy it.
Q What if I don’t get a seat?
A Please provided the date, time and location where you want to board the bus, we guarantee your seat.

Q Where can I buy a Kura-Kura Ticket?
A You can buy ticket online from this site or from our partner agency.
Q Can I buy a ticket from the driver?
A Basically no. The driver will sell you a ticket only if there are unreserved seats.
Q How do I use a Kura-Kura Ticket?
A When boarding the bus, simply show the ticket (softcopy is ok) to the driver.
Q Can I refund Kura-Kura Ticket that have not been used?
A No.

A Unfortunately the buses do not offer wheelchair facilities at this time.

A Yes, all the seats are equipped with seat belts. We recommend that all passengers use seat belts for their own safety.
Q Can I use my mobile phone on the bus?
A Yes.
Q Am I allowed to eat and drink on the bus?
A Please refrain from eating and drinking on the bus.

Full refund will be issued for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the activity date.
